Great plant, garden center in Greeley CO. STAFF IS FRIENDLY, and very helpful. They tend to lead you to your request verses telling you.

Bought a couple items and left. Set off the theft alarms leaving. They ran me down and I showed them my receipt for all the items in my possession. They still had to drag me back in the store which was busy and we had to wait for other customers leaving and I had to excuse myself for going against traffic when we finally had sort of a break. They determined the cashier had not disabled the anti-theft device. It was all VERY humiliating! I immediately walked over to the help desk, returned the items and left to file a formal complaint, asking for the manager to explain who said it shouldn't have happened in the manner it did. I was given the phone number to file my complaint and that associate also agreed it shouldn't have happened in manner it did. It took several follow-up phone calls before the area manager finally called to inform me that it is store policy to detain anyone tripping the exit alarms whether one has a receipt for all items in their possession or not. I immediately closed my credit card and haven't been back since (this happened 3 or 4 years ago), though I used to spend a LOT with Lowes! This visit pissed me off. Received a $5 veteran discount coupon via email - grabbed a box of screws and went to the register - showed the coupon and barcode on my phone to the cashier and was informed THE STORE POLICY REQUIRES ME TO BRING A PRINTED COUPON TO THE STORE and they are not allowed to scan a phone. After a brief discussion with the manager and allowing him to read the email which says NOTHING ABOUT HAVING TO BRING A PRINTED COUPON, he told me that "this time" he would honor the phone code and scanned it and gave me the $5. THAT was an absurd comment to make - just what IS Lowe's "honor our veterans"policy anyway?

Good selection and quality at big box store price. Plenty of clerks working, so no long lines or waits. Lots of sales and price savings. No hassle shopping experience.

Wow, have not been impressed with this store at all. I've been working on a project so have been spending a good bit of time purchasing supplies which has given me many different opportunities to be in the store working with the different departments as well as just grabbing stuff off the shelves. Most employees don't seem very well trained to help you find something or to answer questions and most just didn't seem to care about customer service or whether you purchased anything from Lowes. Trying to get something delivered or to place an order for something is cumbersome and frustrating.
